Mrs. Stephanie Rimzdius—General Studies

I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at the Hebrew Academy!  I am a native of the city of Fountain Valley and have been married for eight years with two boys ages three and six.  I began my teaching career teaching piano for nine years.  I went on to obtain my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, with a concentration in social science, and my teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach.  I have been teaching for nearly 10 years, including teaching 5th grade in the Long Beach and Westminster School Districts.

I love staying active hiking, going to the beach, biking, and spending time with friends and family.  I also love to read in my spare time.

Rabbi Naparstek—Judaic Studies

It is a real honor and privilege to be able to share the joy and spirit of Judaism that I was so fortunate to receive in the heart of today’s Jewish world on the East Coast and in our holy land of Israel. It gives me great pride to observe the enormous growth, maturity and remarkable strides students make during their 5th grade year.  My wife, Aidie, and I are blessed with 4 children and live in Irvine.

I also have the distinct pleasure of directing The O.C branch for CTeens International, a Fantastic Program for Fantastic Teens. Rabbi Naparstek is also the youth director at middle school level.

Mrs. Miriam Gold—Hebrew Language

Mrs. Gold is a legendary Ivrit instructor. She is in her 3rd decade of teaching at the Hebrew Academy. She takes great pride in having taught many of her students’ parents. Her aim is to have each of her students love and master the Hebrew language. Many of her student’s return from their time in Israel full of gratitude for the phenomenal Hebrew Language skills and love for Israel they acquired during their time in Mrs. Gold’s class.
